Ousmane Sylla has a strong background in the telecommunications industry, with experience working for various companies in different roles. Ousmane started their career as a Student Assistant at UNT International Admissions Office in 2007, where they gained valuable administrative skills. In 2011, they interned as an Electrical Engineer at Clovis Research, LC, showcasing their technical abilities.

Sylla then transitioned into the telecommunications field, working as an RF Drive Test Engineer at Glow Networks/CSS Corps in 2012. Ousmane specialized in analyzing and optimizing wireless networks. The following year, they joined Verizon Wireless as a System Performance Engineer, where they focused on ensuring the efficient operation of network systems.

In 2017, Sylla joined T-Mobile as a Network Operations Center Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the IMS, MGW, and STP Network. Ousmane also provided support to vendors during maintenance windows and reported network outages to management. Sylla’s tenure at T-Mobile lasted until early 2023.

Ousmane Sylla has an extensive education history. Ousmane obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Sam Houston State University, studying from 2021 to 2023. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Texas, attending from 2007 to 2011. Ousmane also holds an Associate of Science degree in Liberal Arts from Brookhaven College, which they completed from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their academic degrees, Ousmane Sylla has also obtained several certifications. Ousmane received the certification for Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching from Cisco in July 2015. Furthermore, they completed the LTE RAN Performance BOOTCAMP and the VoLTE Signaling Troubleshooting Workshop: EPC Perspective from Award Solutions, although the specific months and years of completion for these certifications are not provided.
