Sidney Bernardo

Sidney Bernardo possesses extensive experience in procurement management within the petrochemical and coatings industries. Currently serving as Global Procurement Manager for Petrochemical & Renewable Derivatives at Oxiteno since August 2018, Sidney oversees a procurement budget of $250 million, strategically managing the acquisition of a wide range of raw materials to support 12 production plants across multiple regions. Prior to this role, Sidney held various positions at Axalta Coating Systems from 2009 to 2018, culminating as Procurement Manager for South America and Senior Regional Category Manager for Latin America, responsible for managing the procurement of direct and indirect materials across several countries. Earlier experience includes roles at DuPont involving procurement and logistics for automotive paints, as well as a technical position at DIRECTV. Sidney holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Trade and an Electronics Technician degree.
