Jim Jogerst has extensive work experience in the field of business development, corporate strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. Jim currently holds the position of Chief Business Officer at Oxular, a role they have been in since 2022. Prior to this, they served as Chief Business Officer at Rubius Therapeutics from 2021 to 2022.

From 2018 to 2021, Jim Jogerst worked at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as the Senior Director of Business Development. Earlier in their career, Jim Jogerst gained experience in investment banking at ISI Partners, where they served as the Managing Director & Founding Partner from 2004 to 2006. Jim also worked as a Vice President at Hoak Breedlove Wesneski & Co, a regional investment and merchant bank, from 2000 to 2004.

Jim Jogerst started their career at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a Manager in Global Corporate Finance from 1998 to 2000. In this role, they originated and executed corporate finance transactions and provided consulting services in areas such as IPOs, M&A transactions, bankruptcies, and turnarounds.

Jim Jogerst obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of North Texas, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance and International Business at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. Jim attended this school from 1992 to 1994. In addition, they also earned an MBA in Finance and International Business from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, where they studied in 1993 and 1994. Jim Jogerst also holds a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute.
