Rob Roberti

Rob Roberti, CPA, CA, CFA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the finance and renewable energy industry.

Rob is currently working as the EVP, Project Finance at OYA Renewables since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Solar Alliance from September 2021 to March 2023.

From 2018 to 2021, Rob Roberti was a member of the Investment and Audit Committees at Inlandsis Fund / Fonds Inlandsis, where they focused on financing greenhouse gas reduction projects.

As the Chief Financial Officer at Cordelio Power from June 2018 to September 2021, they played a significant role in building the company and teams from inception with an initial capital of C$3 billion invested in wind and solar power facilities across North America. Rob led three bond financings and was responsible for various financial functions such as accounting, FP&A, tax strategy, planning and compliance, insurance, cash management, budgets, forecasting, internal controls, and compliance reporting.

Before joining Cordelio Power, they worked as a Principal at Verde Finance Inc., where they advised a small and fast-growing clean energy debt and equity finance company. Their responsibilities included sourcing and negotiating funding for distributed clean energy and energy efficiency projects, developing strategies for new products, and portfolio management.

From 2007 to 2016, Rob Roberti served as the Senior Vice President of Power Generation at Capstone Infrastructure Corporation. Rob also held the position of CFO at Clean Power Income Fund from 2006 to 2007.

Additionally, they worked as a Principal at Verde Finance Inc. from 2005 to 2007 and as the Manager of Financing and Development at Regional Power Inc. from 2003 to 2005.

At the beginning of their career, they worked as the Director of Project Finance at Probyn & Company Inc. from 2000 to 2003.

Rob Roberti, CPA, CA, CFA, obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting, Finance, and Economics from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management from 1984 to 1988. Rob also has additional certifications, including "Designing Growth Strategies" from LinkedIn in October 2016. Furthermore, they hold the designations of Chartered Accountant from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute, and Chartered Professional Accountant from CPA Canada (Chartered Professional Accountants Canada), although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
