Distinction In Service To The Community at Ozanam Inn

Navjot Singh is a dedicated medical professional with extensive experience in clinical research and community service. Currently serving in the Distinction in Service to the Community program at Ozanam Inn since January 2017, Navjot conducts seminars on nutrition and health maintenance for the homeless in the greater New Brunswick area. Prior roles include Clinical Research Assistant for anesthesiologist Dr. Shaul Cohen at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Clinical Research Associate at Stanford University School of Medicine, focusing on the neurobiological links between obesity and depression. Additional experience encompasses research positions at Princeton University and The College of New Jersey, as well as roles in patient interaction as a Medical Scribe and shadowing physicians. Navjot Singh holds a Doctor of Medicine candidate degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The College of New Jersey.
