Catherine Sanders

Catherine Sanders currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Ozette, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this, Catherine held various leadership roles at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. from January 2012 to September 2023, including Vice President of Research and Business Development and Senior Director of Research and Business Development. Catherine's extensive experience includes managing teams to establish high-value strategic partnerships, negotiating broad partnerships in biopharma, and launching innovative immunosequencing products. Before working at Adaptive Biotechnologies, Catherine was a Senior Research Scientist at HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center after earning a PhD in Immunopathology from the same institution. Academic qualifications also include a Master's degree in Pathology and a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology from Mississippi State University.
