Daniel Otero has a diverse work experience in various roles. Daniel is currently the CEO and Co-founder of OZON Mobility, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, they were the CEO and Co-founder of MUVO, a micromobility solution company for Latin America, from April 2017 to December 2020. Daniel also founded and served as the CEO of Bicirolo, a company focused on implementing a docked bike sharing scheme in Bogotá, Colombia, from January 2016 to March 2017. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Daniel worked in the financial industry as a Senior Financial Advisor at Banco Davivienda (Corredores Davivienda) from March 2012 to May 2015 and as a Junior Financial Advisor at Corredores Asociados from April 2011 to April 2012. In these roles, they were involved in market analysis, financial portfolio management, and performing market operations of financial securities.
Daniel Otero has a diverse educational background. In 2021, they completed a Latitud Fellow LF1 program at Latitud. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at IE Business School. In 2010, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, specializing in Finance and Organizations. Additionally, in 2011, they earned a minor in Business Law from the same university.
