Charles Pipkin

Charles Pipkin has a diverse work history that spans several industries. Charles began their career as a Contracting Officer at the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center in 1985, where they gained experience in source selections, negotiations, and contract administration. From 2001 to 2005, they served as a Procurement Analyst at the same center, providing contract policy advice and assistance to Contracting Officers. From 2005 to 2010, Pipkin worked as a Business Analyst and Contracting Officer at the 402d Maintenance Wing, where they developed and executed depot maintenance Public-Private Partnerships. Following this role, they joined the Air Force Global Logistics Support Center as the Director of the Aircraft Structures Commodity Council, where they led the development of sourcing strategies for aircraft structural spares and repairs. Most recently, Pipkin has been working as the Vice President of Contracts at Parts, Inc., where they are responsible for developing, negotiating, and executing legal documents for the company.

Charles Pipkin has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from The University of Georgia, which they obtained from 1973 to 1975. Charles also has an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Commercial and Advertising Art from Middle Georgia State University, which they obtained from 1971 to 1973. Additionally, they hold a Master of Science degree in Administration and Logistics Management from Georgia College & State University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1996. Later on, they completed a Graduate program in Air Command and Staff College at Air University in 2003. Charles Pipkin also has several certifications, including a Certified Acquisition Professional, Contracting Level III from Acquisition Personnel Development Program (APDP) in 2003, a Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) from the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) in 2000, and a Certified Associate Contract Manager (CACM) from the NCMA in 1999.
