J. Ganeshram

J.Ganeshram started his career in 1988, as third generation entrepreneur and has a cumulative trade experience of 28 years. He is the Joint Managing Director of the company since 1997. He initiated PSTS's backward integration journey from Shipping Agency and Trading to integrated logistics and further into Port and CFS Management. He entered into joint venture with Reliance Logistics (Reliance Group Company) under the brand name "Relogistics (TN) Pvt. Ltd" in the year 2002 and was the CEO till 2007. He introduced single window solutions for all the supply chain needs of the Tamilnadu industry. Under his action oriented and visionary role PSTS has emerged as a dynamic organization, marking double digit growth across all services of the group.

His academic qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from CEG Anna University, Chennai, and Masters in Management from MK University. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, UK and is also a holder of Form 'F' from Indian Customs.

Mr. Ganesh Ram takes active part in the activities of the apex bodies of trade and industry and is presently serving as Secretary of Chennai Port Stevedores Association. He has served as Head of Logistics Panel of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Chennai Zone. He has also served as executive member of logistics committee in "Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI)".

He strives to propel the 75 year old family business into an agile and responsive organization that meets the changing demands of the logistics industry.
