Marty Young is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and process improvement within the mining and processing industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Operations and Director of Process Improvement at P.W. Gillibrand Co., Inc. since August 2016, Marty has a proven track record from previous roles at U.S. Silica Company, where key positions included Senior Process Engineer, Plant Manager, and Operations Superintendent, focusing on plant expansion, process design, and quality improvement. Marty began the career as a Process Engineer at Oglebay Norton Company, contributing to efficiencies in production processes. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Mineral Processing and a Bachelor of Science in Geo Environmental Engineering, both from Penn State University.
