Herkko Plit

Herkko Plit has had an extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Herkko is currently the Founder and CEO of P2X Solutions Oy since September 2020. Additionally, they serve as a Board Member at Enersense International Oyj since April 2020.

Prior to their current positions, Herkko Plit was the President and CEO of Baltic Connector from October 2016 to December 2020. Herkko also worked at the Ministry of Employment and the Economy, Energy Department as the Deputy Director General (Teollisuusneuvos) from January 2012 to September 2016.

Before that, Herkko Plit held multiple roles at Fortum, including General Manager, Expert Solutions from October 2009 to December 2011, and President from May 2008 to December 2011. Herkko was responsible for Construction on OL3 project as the Responsible Director at TVO from May 2003 to May 2008.

Herkko Plit also worked at EFDA CSU Garching as the Head of Project Control Unit from 2000 to 2003, and as a Design Engineer at Fortum/IVO from May 1994 to December 1999.

Herkko Plit obtained their M Sc degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Prior to this, they attended Puolalanmäen lukio, but no specific degree or field of study information is available for this institution.
