Ken Nilsen is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in the engineering sector. Since January 1998, Ken has served as President of PACE Engineers, a multi-discipline employee-owned firm that provides a range of services including civil engineering, structural engineering, planning, GIS, and surveying for both municipal and private clients. Prior to this role, from 1987 to 1998, Ken was a Project Manager at King County Surface Water Management, where significant achievements included managing surface water projects and earning recognition from the EPA for the Soos Creek Basin's stormwater program. Ken began the professional journey as a Design Engineer at Horton Dennis and Associates from 1984 to 1987. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and an Associate of Arts in Civil Engineering from Shoreline Community College.
