Turochas "T" Fuad enjoys building companies and he has successfully launched and sold 3 startups thus far. T's first startup was WUF Networks, Inc., an Internet of things software company based out of Silicon Valley. The company was acquired by Yahoo!, Inc in 2005. T was also the CEO and Founder of travelmob, an online marketplace for vacation rentals. Headquartered in Singapore, travelmob was acquired by HomeAway, Inc. (now part of Expedia) in mid 2013. In 2016, T established and ran Spacemob, a co-working operator based out of Singapore. Spacemob was later acquired by WeWork in 2017 and T was appointed as the Managing Director of WeWork Southeast Asia and Korea.
In between his startups, T was the Managing Director for Skype AsiaPac, responsible for its business expansion across Japan, China, Australia, Taiwan, Korea, India and Southeast Asia. T led and launched a mobile partnership with KDDI to make Skype available to the second largest mobile network in Japan. Prior to Skype, T was responsible for all business aspects of Yahoo!’s Mobile division across the Southeast Asia market.
T’s background has spanned across various industries which include enterprise software, e-commerce, mobile, travel, real estate, hospitality and consumer internet services. Born in Indonesia, T currently resides in Singapore, plotting out his next adventure.
