John R. Ward

John R. Ward has over 35 years of experience in the transit industry, currently serving as an Operations Tech Training Specialist and CNG Training Technician at Pace Suburban Bus since September 2015. Prior to this role, John R. Ward held various positions at the Chicago Transit Authority from July 1980 to August 2015, culminating in the roles of General Manager for both Bus Operations and Bus Maintenance. Additional earlier roles included Manager II and Manager of Bus Maintenance, as well as positions as Bus Garage Assistant Foreman, Bus Garage Instructor, Bus Repairer, and Bus Servicer. John R. Ward holds a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science from Northeastern Illinois University and an Associate of Science from Wilbur Wright College.
