Eleanor Brown has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Eleanor began their career as an Analyst Programmer at Co-op Insurance in 1995, where they worked on a large project and gained experience in the Software Development Life Cycle. Eleanor then moved on to Barclays as an Analyst Programmer, supporting and enhancing the Bank's Cheque Clearance Systems. During this time, they developed skills in working under pressure and delivering results.
In 2001, Eleanor joined Electronic Data Systems as a Project Manager, where they managed multiple projects on the card account at Post Office. Eleanor also served as an Information Analyst on the Alliance & Leicester Merchant Services account, involving analysis, development, and project management of system enhancements.
In 2007, Eleanor worked at Shop Direct as an IT Project Manager, focusing on call recording and email management projects. Eleanor gained experience in project initiation, vendor selection, and negotiation with third-party suppliers.
From 2007 to 2008, they worked at Alliance & Leicester as a Project Manager, responsible for the rollout of a document management system and scoping a project for improvements to manual processes.
In 2008, Eleanor joined G4S as Head of PMO (UK&I), where they provided governance control and support for major IT-led projects in the region. Eleanor also served as a Project Manager, successfully managing business change and IT projects.
From 2018 to 2021, Eleanor worked at The University of Manchester as a Project Manager, leading IT projects for large-scale building developments within the University's Campus Masterplan. Eleanor also served as an IT Estates Programme Manager (Interim), overseeing project delivery and representing IT at a leadership level.
Most recently, Eleanor joined PACE in 2022 as a Project Manager.
Eleanor Brown started their education at Stonelaw High School in 1985 and completed their studies there in 1991. Eleanor then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematical Sciences at the University of Strathclyde from 1991 to 1995.
