Steve Turner

Steve Turner has over 20 years of experience in law enforcement. Steve has held various roles in the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, starting as a Sergeant in 2001 and progressing to Captain and Assistant Commander. Steve also served as the Night Watch Major and the Senior Director of Building Security and Safety at Pacers Sports & Entertainment.

Steve Turner's education history includes earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Vincennes University in 1991. Steve went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in General Studies from Indiana University Indianapolis in 2003. Later, they pursued a Graduate Certificate of Achievement in Criminal Justice Leadership from the University of Virginia in 2010. Steve then completed a Graduate Certificate in Homeland Security and Emergency Management at Indiana University Indianapolis in 2013, followed by a Master of Science (MS) in Criminal Justice & Public Safety from the same institution in 2015. Additionally, they studied Accounting and Finance at Indiana University Bloomington from 1991-1993.
