Jason Welch

Jason Welch has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. jason started their career in 1998 at UPS as an Accounting Supervisor, where they gained extensive experience in various positions of increasing responsibility. jason then moved on to Medavie Blue Cross in 2010, serving as Manager of Financial Services and later as Manager of Group Underwriting. In 2017, they joined Pacific Blue Cross as Director of Group Underwriting, focusing on improving tools, processes, and strategies to create maximum value for the organization. jason later took on roles as Associate Vice President, Group Business, and is currently the Senior Vice President - D.A. Townley, leading a subsidiary of Pacific Blue Cross. Throughout their career, Jason has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in automation and process improvement, and a commitment to achieving both growth and margin goals.

Jason Welch has a BBA degree in Business and Administration from the University of New Brunswick. jason is also a certified professional accountant, holding the CPA-CMA designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
