Ashley Bailey

Ashley Bailey is an experienced medical optometric physician currently serving as Membership Co-Chair at Optometric Physicians of Washington since 2023, and holds a position at Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute since June 2020. Previous roles include serving as a Resident Doctor at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System from July 2019 to July 2023, and as Secretary at Pacific Practice Management Group alongside serving as Eye Ball Chair for Amigos from May 2016 to July 2019. Ashley also founded and presided over the HAVOC Club, leading meetings and managing campus communication from 2014 to 2015. An intern at Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute in 2014, Ashley examined patients and discussed findings with optometrists. Additionally, research contributions include creating a mobile app for binocular vision diagnosis and organizing a vision symposium while working as a Research Assistant at Educating Young Eyes. Ashley's educational background includes a Doctorate from Pacific University's College of Optometry and a Bachelor's Degree in Community Psychology from the University of Washington.
