Samantha Steindel-Cymer is a Cultural Resources Specialist at Pacific Legacy, Inc. since June 2021, with previous experience as an Archaeology Fellow at the Bureau of Land Management and a Mano Program Intern at the Hispanic Access Foundation. Samantha served as a Lab Assistant at the Anthropological Studies Center, focusing on analysis and cataloging of artifacts. Additional roles include a graduate assistant at Sonoma State University's Hutchins School of Liberal Studies, a graduate mentor for Human Osteology, and the designer of an archaeological summer camp program at Safari West Wildlife Foundation. Samantha's earlier positions include Receptionist at Saltzburg, Ray & Bergman, LLP, Assistant Curator at the Museum of the San Fernando Valley, and Archaeological Site Supervisor for the Maya Research Program. Samantha holds a Master's degree in Cultural Resource Management and Policy Analysis from Sonoma State University and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Smith College.
