Hayley Shannon

Hayley Shannon is an experienced dance educator and community outreach coordinator with a focus on inclusivity and empowerment through dance. Currently serving as a faculty member at Velocity Dance Center and Creative Dance Center, Shannon teaches various classes including Dance Healing, integrating dance/movement therapy and creative dance techniques. As a community outreach coordinator at Spectrum Dance Theater, responsibilities include organizing accessible dance programs in Seattle Public Schools and facilitating discussions on social issues. Shannon also works as a teaching artist with Pacific Northwest Ballet's DISCOVER DANCE program and engages as a choreographer for Silver Kite Community Arts, LLC. With extensive experience in grant writing and fundraising, Shannon contributes as a communications manager for The Three Yells Performance Company. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Dance from Michigan State University.
