Tom Rice

Tom Rice has extensive experience in the banking and financial industry, with a focus on technology, operations, and innovation. Tom served as the Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Innovation Officer (CINO) at Pacific Premier Bank, where they oversaw strategic technology planning and led teams on emerging innovations in payments and banking. Tom also served as the Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Operations Officer (COO) at Pacific Premier Bank, where they guided branches, conversion, and operation teams during a period of rapid growth. Additionally, Tom worked as the Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Pacific Premier Bank, managing the strategic technology planning for the bank's growth and acquisitions. Prior to their time at Pacific Premier Bank, Tom held the role of Senior Vice President Information Technology at Vineyard Bank, where they led and directed the technology team supporting the bank's asset growth. Tom also has experience as a Partner and Director of Operations at Compushare, a startup consulting firm specializing in technology, M&A, and compliance services for financial institutions. Tom Rice attended Mt. San Antonio College from an unknown start year to 1996, where they earned an Associate in Arts degree in Liberal Arts. Tom then enrolled at DeVry Institute of Technology from 1996 to 1998, obtaining their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems.
