Megan Yoshioka is an experienced copy editor and proofreader currently employed at Pacific Press Publishing Association since August 2022. Previously, Megan worked as a reporter for Spectrum Magazine during the 61st General Conference Session of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in June 2022. From August 2019 to May 2022, Megan served as the Editor-in-Chief of Southern Accent, managing a team of over 20 individuals and ensuring fair and accurate reporting. In addition, Megan held various roles within the Southern Accent, including copy editor, layout designer, and lead reporter, while also contributing as a managing editor for the LAC Magazine. Earlier experience includes freelance graphic design for Hawaii Hand & Rehabilitation Services. Megan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication with a focus on Writing/Editing from Southern Adventist University, completed in 2022.
