Elizabeth Grossman

Assistant Head of Upper School & Teacher of English at PACIFIC RIDGE SCHOOL

Ms. Grossman has been a teacher and administrator in independent day schools for almost 20 years. Before coming to Pacific Ridge School, she was Director of Curriculum at Tarbut V’Torah Community Day School in Irvine, CA, where she also taught AP English Literature. Ms. Grossman graduated with highest distinction from University of California, San Diego, with degrees in Literature and Anthropology, and continued her graduate study there in Comparative Literature. She has been a Summer Fellow at the Klingenstein Institute and has served on three CAIS/WASC accreditation teams. Ms. Grossman has many interests, some of which include travel, photography, reading, gardening, and following women’s collegiate basketball (especially University of Tennessee’s Lady Vols).
