Nirupama Prabhakara Rao

Nirupama Prabhakara Rao is an experienced quality manager currently serving as the Value Creation Quality Manager at Pacific Seafood since February 2021. Prior to this role, Nirupama held the position of Quality Assurance Supervisor at Shamrock Foods Company, where responsibilities included working with Grade A Dairy products, conducting milk antibiotic testing, and managing allergen campaigns and SQF audits. Experience also includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Food Safety and Health, where experimental studies on hydrogen peroxide's effects on seed germination and Salmonella reduction were conducted. Additionally, as a Quality Assurance Lead at Food Buddies, Nirupama contributed to the formulation of various food products. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Food Safety and Technology from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from St. Joseph's College of Engineering.
