Jacie Matsukawa, CMP has over 8 years of experience in the meetings and events industry. Jacie began their career in 2011 as a Marketing Research Intern at Lorraine Hansberry Theatre, followed by a Marketing and Communications Intern at San Francisco Parks Alliance. In the same year, they were also a Social Media/Marketing Intern at Children's Creativity Museum and a Teaching Assistant at University of San Francisco. In 2012, they were a Public Relations/Marketing Intern at Impress Labs. In 2013, they were a Marketing and Sales Administrative Assistant at Behmke Reporting and Video Services, Inc. In 2014, they were an Event Production Intern at Simply Detailed, Inc. and an Assistant Account Executive and Account Coordinator at Anthology Marketing Group. Since 2015, they have been a Meetings & Events Manager and Meeting Planner/Conference Coordinator at Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC). In these roles, they have managed timelines, budgets, schedules of deliverables, workflow, operating procedures, and all other project-related tasks for in-person, virtual, and hybrid conferences. Jacie has also overseen and implemented all aspects of the accreditation process for the PTC Academy online training courses, reviewed, updated, developed, and conducted rigorous coursework alongside verified instructors to deliver exceptional management training and continuing education units, coordinated logistics for six events yearly, performed on-site execution of programs, led sales efforts and promotion of annual conference sponsorships, and fulfilled sponsor benefits.

Jacie Matsukawa, CMP, obtained their Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council in August 2018. Jacie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Marketing from the University of San Francisco in 2012. Prior to that, they attended Moanalua High School from 2004 to 2008.
