Mauricio Carrasco

Mauricio Carrasco is a Senior Economist at Pacífico Research since April 2022. Mauricio also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Universidad de los Andes, teaching courses on Time Series and Macroeconomics. Previously, Mauricio held positions such as Head of Studies at DIPRES, Chief Economist at Econsult, and Economist at the Central Bank of Chile. Mauricio has a Master's degree in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and has pursued additional education in Data Analytics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Their expertise includes macroeconometric modeling, forecasting, and analysis of both local and international economies.
