Carlos Ruiz

Carlos Ruiz is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the fields of biomedical engineering and at-home medical technology. Currently serving as the R&D/Applications Engineering Manager at Pacproinc, LLC since January 2023, Carlos previously held positions as a Senior Product Engineer and Mechanical Engineer at InnaMed, where efforts focused on improving at-home blood testing technology. Carlos has also contributed to academia as a Research Engineer at Widener University and a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, along with leading graduate research teams at Drexel University. Additional experience includes management of the Robotics and Mechatronics Laboratory at Drexel and a foundational role as a Veterinary Assistant at Broad Street Animal Hospital. Carlos holds a Master's degree in Engineering Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Drexel University.
