Dave Maclean

David Maclean is an accomplished leader with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as a Director at School Of Code and as a Director and Investor at both 10X Managers and Kaido, David also holds the position of Chairman at Nonsensical, where efforts focus on sustainable local news models. As the CEO of Packt Publishing since April 2004, David contributes to the publishing landscape. Prior roles include Chair of the Local Digital Skills Partnership for the West Midlands Combined Authority, where David facilitated adult skills programs, and Chair of the WMCA Digital Board, emphasizing digital growth in the region. David co-founded LoveBrum Charity to support local causes and founded Wrox Press, establishing a foundation in publishing. David's educational background includes a BSc in Architecture from UCL.
