Collin Weston, PE has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Collin started their career as a Naval Architect/Project Engineer Intern at Trinity Yachts, LLC in September 2013 and worked there until November 2014. From January 2015 to July 2016, they worked as a Structural Engineer at Friede & Goldman, Ltd. Collin then joined Navatek, LLC in August 2016 as a Senior Engineer and stayed there until November 2020. Collin then worked at Gibbs & Cox, Inc. as a Senior Naval Architect from November 2020 to May 2022. After that, they joined CalWave Power Technologies Inc. in May 2022 as a Naval Architect and worked there until February 2023. Currently, Collin is working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at PacMar Technologies, starting from February 2023.
Collin Weston, PE, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Maritime Systems Engineering at Texas A&M University Galveston Campus from 2010 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the University of New Orleans from 2013 to 2014.
In terms of certifications, Collin obtained the Engineer-In-Training designation from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in June 2013. Collin later achieved the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the State of Hawaii in January 2021.
