John Edward Greer

John Edward Greer is a seasoned scientific professional with extensive experience in biotechnology and gene editing. Currently serving as a Process Development Scientist at PACT Pharma since July 2020, John previously held the position of Associate Scientist at MBP Titan, where the focus was on the efficient conversion of natural gas to valuable products. With a background in cancer research as an Associate Research Specialist at UCSF's Collisson Lab, John studied pancreatic cancer and other Ras-induced malignancies. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Associate at Fabrus, developing therapeutic monoclonal antibodies, and as a Research Technician at The Scripps Research Institute, where John contributed to synthesizing novel molecules. John holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of San Francisco, a certificate in Applied Biotechnology/Molecular Biology from San Diego Miramar College, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology from UC San Diego.
