John Carlson

John Carlson has a long and varied work experience. John began their career at InnerDyne in 1992 as the Director of R&D. In 2002, they moved to Ethicon Endo-Surgery, where they served as the VP of R&D until 2006. John then returned to Ethicon Endo-Surgery as the VP of R&D until 2010, when they moved to Johnson & Johnson as the VP of R&D. In 2016, they joined Flex as the President, and in 2021, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Pacur LLC.

John Carlson began their educational journey at Kewanee High School. John then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) at UC San Diego. After completing their undergraduate studies, they returned to UC San Diego to earn a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering.
