John Carroll

John Carroll has extensive work experience in the sports betting industry. John started their career at William Hill in 2007 as a Football Odds Compiler and worked there until 2010. John then joined Codere as a Senior Football Odds Compiler for two years. In 2012, they moved to Betfair and held various roles including Senior Football Trader and Head of Football. From 2016 onwards, they joined Paddy Power Betfair as the Head of Football and later became the Football Director. Their most recent role at Paddy Power Betfair is the Managing Director - Exchange and Sportsbook Trading, which they have held since November 2020.

John Carroll attended St Bede's in Manchester from 1996 to 2003. John went on to study Economics at The University of Sheffield from 2003 to 2007, earning a BA degree. In 2021, they completed a Mini MBA in Marketing, offered by Marketing Week with Mark Ritson. In 2022, they pursued further education at UCD Professional Academy, obtaining a Professional Diploma in Finance for Non Financial Managers.
