Marta Sjögren has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. In 2010, they founded Mainma & Co and served as its Founder until 2012. Marta then joined Northzone as an Investment Manager from March 2012 to April 2015, where they later became a Principal until January 2018. Subsequently, Marta held the position of Partner at Northzone from January 2018 to August 2020, focusing on early-stage B2B and B2C investments. Additionally, they served as Venture Partner from August 2020 to January 2021. Marta was also an Investor and Board Member at Seriously Digital Entertainment from July 2015 to August 2019. Marta participated as an Investor and Board Observer at BehavioSec from December 2014 to January 2021, and as an Investor at Labster from July 2017 to January 2021. From May 2016 to April 2021, they were an Investor and Board Member at Zervant, and from July 2017 to May 2021, they held the same positions at HappyOrNot. Beginning in February 2019, Marta became a Member of the Steering Group at Ada Ventures. Currently, they are serving as the Co-Founder and Co-CEO at Paebbl since October 2021. Furthermore, Marta is a Member of the Board of Stewards at 2050, starting from April 2022.
Marta Sjögren began their education journey at the Danube International School Vienna from 1994 to 1999, where they completed their K12 IB education. From 1999 to 2001, they attended the International School of Nice, where they obtained their IGCSE certification. Following this, Marta then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Relations at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2003 to 2006. In 2007, they furthered their education by attending ESCP Business School, where they earned a Master in European Business, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General, which they completed in 2008.
