Matthias Fuchs

Matthias Fuchs is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as Prorektor Ausbildung and Gesamtleiter Studiengänge at Pädagogische Hochschule Thurgau since May 2010, where Matthias is a member of the university leadership. Previously, Matthias worked at Pädagogische Hochschule Zürich from January 2002 to April 2010, holding roles as Leiter der Bereiche Unterrichtsentwicklung und Medienlernen and Hochschuldozent, contributing to the establishment of the eLearning sector and teaching future primary and secondary educators. Matthias began their career as a Primarlehrer in the Volksschulgemeinde Tägerwilen from 1985 to 1999 and served as a Lehrbeauftragter für Allgemeinbildung at Gewerbliche Berufsschule Weinfelden from August 1999 to July 2002. Additional academic contributions include a teaching role at Universität Zürich in 2001. Matthias holds a Ph.D. in Medienpädagogik and a Master's degree in Pädagogik from the University of Zurich.
