Simon Wolfer

Simon Wolfer serves as Stadtpräsident of Stadt Weinfelden since June 2023 and is a member of the Hochschulrat at Pädagogische Hochschule Thurgau since June 2020. Additionally, Simon holds a position on the Verwaltungsrat of Technische Betriebe Weinfelden AG (TBW) since June 2017. Previously, Simon practiced as a Rechtsanwalt and Collaborative Lawyer at BÜRGI HOTZ ZELLWEGER Rechtsanwälte from October 2010 to May 2023. Simon's academic contributions include a role as a Lehrbeauftragter für Privatrecht at Universität Luzern from 2005 to 2018. Simon completed a lic. iur. in Recht at Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg from 2000 to 2004 and furthered expertise in mediation through training at the Dispute Resolution Center in Austin, Texas, and Konstanzer Schule für Mediation in 2016 and 2014, respectively. Simon obtained a Dr. iur. degree from the University of Lucerne between 2005 and 2008.
