Akhilesh Singhania

Akhilesh Singhania has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Akhilesh is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Pagoda since 2022. Prior to this, they were employed at DFINITY, where they held multiple roles including Senior Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager, Team Lead, and Senior Software Engineer from 2019 to 2022.

Before DFINITY, Akhilesh worked at Oracle as a Principal Member of Technical Staff from 2015 to 2019. During their time there, they played a key role in architecting and tech transferring a Python-based distributed map/reduce framework for real-time data processing. Akhilesh also contributed to the development of a C/C++ graph processing framework.

From 2011 to 2015, Akhilesh worked at Solarflare Communications as a Staff Software Engineer. Akhilesh made significant contributions to the company's flagship product, OpenOnload, which is an open-source kernel bypass TCP/IP network stack. Akhilesh also designed a kernel bypass packet capture tool called SolarCapture.

Akhilesh's earliest work experience was as a Research Assistant at ETH Zurich from 2008 to 2011.
