Peter Hamilton

Peter Hamilton is the current Chief Operational Officer at Paige and has previously held the positions of Chief of Staff & European Director at Paige, Business Lead at Cirdan Ltd, and Head of Research & Life Sciences Site Lead at Philips Pathology. Prior to these roles, Hamilton was the Founder & Senior VP for Research and Development at PATHXL LIMITED from September 2005 to September 2016. In this role, they were responsible for developing the company's software products for digital pathology and tumour analysis, as well as overseeing research laboratories and biobanks.

Hamilton began their career as a Professor of Digital Pathology and Bioinformatics at Queen's University Belfast in January 2002. Peter remained in this position until September 2016 when they left to join PATHXL LIMITED. Peter has been instrumental in developing digital pathology solutions and bringing the latest technology to the market. Peter's work has made a significant impact in the field of pathology and has helped to improve patient care.

Peter Hamilton completed a PhD in Quantitative Cellular Imaging and Digital Pathology in Early Cancer at Queen's University Belfast. Peter also has a BSc in Biology & Computing from the University of Ulster.
