Lakeisha Patterson Oam

Lakeisha Patterson OAM is a professional athlete with extensive experience in various roles within the sports and health sectors. Currently affiliated with Swimming Australia since April 2014 and serving as a Gratitude Officer for Paralympics Australia since November 2020, Lakeisha also acts as a brand ambassador for renowned swimwear brands Funkita Swimwear and True Protein, and is an ambassador for PainPod™ BioTechnology and Epilepsy Queensland Inc. Through these roles, Lakeisha engages with supporters and promotes healthy living and recovery. Lakeisha's past involvement includes serving as an ambassador for Aspirations4Kids in Sport and a speaker for Soroptimist International of the South West Pacific. Lakeisha's education includes a Bachelor of Communication in Digital Media from The University of Queensland, along with previous studies in Architecture.
