Be Bruening began their work experience in 2004 as a Customer Service Representative at GE Capital, where they received consistent perfect scores from customers and created the "Catch the Hacker" upsell incentive program. In 2006, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at The Prout Group, where they maintained a database of prospective candidates, reformatted resumes, and conducted independent research for the Alliance of Board Diversity. From 2007 to 2014, they worked at PR Newswire as a Customer Content Specialist, focusing on the International Desk. Finally, since December 2014, Be has been working as an Artist at Paint Nite.
Be Bruening attended Wright State University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Theatre Studies.
