Azhar Tariq

Azhar Tariq is currently the Manager of Engineering at Pakistan Oilfields. Azhar has over 25 years of experience in the engineering field, with a focus on mechanical engineering.

Tariq began their career in 1992 as a Site Engineer with Descon Engineering (Pvt) LTD. in Pakistan. Azhar then moved to Treet Group of Companies as Manufacturing Manager/Manager Plant Utilities & Engineering. In 2005, they joined Enerflex Ltd. as Manager Pressure Vessel Design Group. Azhar stayed with the company for two years before moving to AMEC in 2010, where they worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer for two years. In 2012, they joined Jacobs as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and stayed with the company until May 2013. Azhar then joined Pakistan Oilfields as Manager, Engineering.

Azhar Tariq has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. Azhar also has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Institute of Business Administration. In addition, they have a degree in project management tools and techniques from Mount Royal University.

Their manager is Shuaib A. Malik, Chairman & CEO. They work with Bilal A. Khan - General Manager, Sajjad Ahmed - Manager, Administration Fields, and Saadat Anis - General Manager.
