Radu-Cosmin Balan

Radu-Cosmin Balan is an experienced professional in application security, currently serving as the Head of Application Security at Palantir Technologies since March 2015, previously holding roles as Development Team Lead and Software Engineer within the same company. Prior experience includes software engineering internships at Twitter, Facebook, and Bioclinome, as well as a position as a Malware Researcher at Bitdefender. Radu-Cosmin Balan holds a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from Universitatea „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iași. Educational background also includes completion of studies at Colegiul "Costache Negruzzi" Iasi.
