Nazish Huq

Director, Clinical Operations and Program Management at Palatin Technologies

Nazish Huq has worked in various roles within the clinical operations and program management field. Nazish is currently the Director of Clinical Operations and Program Management at Palatin Technologies, a position they started in November 2022.

Prior to their current role, Nazish worked as the Director of Clinical Operations at Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd. from August 2019 to February 2022. In this role, they managed various global clinical studies, acted as the primary point of contact for internal and external teams, participated in vendor selection processes, managed clinical supply activities, oversaw study budgets, and reviewed study-specific documents.

Before joining Sun Pharma, Nazish served as the Director of Clinical Operations at Symphogen Inc. from February 2015 to June 2019. Their responsibilities in this role included managing global clinical trials, participating in the opening of the company's United States office, recruiting and onboarding staff, ensuring compliance with SOPs and GCP, and participating in internal QA audits.

From July 2013 to January 2015, Nazish worked as the Associate Director of Clinical Development at Shionogi Inc. Here, they managed operational aspects of Phase III global clinical trials, contracted and managed Phase 1 units, maintained effective communication with various functional areas, and supervised and mentored direct and indirect reports.

Nazish's earlier experience includes roles such as Manager of Clinical Programs at Enzon Pharmaceuticals from September 2007 to February 2013, Clinical Project Manager at Cordis from May 2004 to September 2007, and Project Manager at Kendle International, Inc. from December 1997 to May 2004.

Nazish Huq has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General, which they obtained from The College of New Jersey from 1990 to 1994. Nazish later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Cell and Developmental Biology, completing it at Rutgers University from 1995 to 1997. Additionally, they obtained another Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Cell and Developmental Biology from Rutgers University - Newark during the same time frame.
