Keith Schmerer

Keith Schmerer has extensive experience in the field of recreation and facility management, currently serving as Facilities Manager at Palatine Park District since April 2018, following a role as Facilities Coordinator. Prior experience includes Athletic and Facility Supervisor at Geneva Park District from April 2012 to April 2018, where responsibilities encompassed supervising adult softball and youth basketball, managing mini golf and disc golf courses, and overseeing gymnastics programs. At Wood Dale Park District from November 2007 to April 2012, Schmerer worked as Recreation Supervisor, supervising various athletic programs, managing the fitness center, and organizing special events. Schmerer holds a Master of Science in Recreation, Sports and Tourism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management from Illinois State University.
