Mohammad Bdair

Mohammad Bdair, CFA, currently serves as a member of the Investment Committee at ACI Financial Markets Association since February 2024. With extensive experience in treasury and investment management, Mohammad has held the position of Head of Treasury and Investment at Palestine Islamic Bank since January 2021, overseeing all treasury activities, liquidity management, investment analysis, and capital requirements. Prior to this, Mohammad was Chief of the Reserve Management Division at Palestine Monetary Authority, responsible for maintaining statutory reserves for banks. Additional roles include serving as Secretary of the MENA Regional Committee for the International Association of Deposit Insurers and Head of the Investment Unit at Palestine Deposit Insurance Corporation. Early career experience includes positions as an Investment Officer at Bank of Palestine and a Back Office Apprentice at HSBC. Mohammad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Birzeit University.
