Stefan Parhofer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy and corporate strategy sectors. Currently serving as Chief Investment Officer at Smartenergy since September 2020 and Co-Founder of Palitree since May 2019, Stefan has been instrumental in developing innovative platforms based on trust and sharing. Prior roles include Corporate VC at Siemens' next47, Chief Strategy Officer at Smartenergy, and CEO & President of Gehrlicher Solar America, where successful US operations were established that scaled to over USD 150 million in revenue. Additional experience spans senior consulting roles at Siemens and strategy leadership positions at various companies, supported by a robust academic background including a PhD in Physics and an MBA in Strategy.
