Tom Adlam

Tom Adlam currently serves as the Deputy Team Leader and Impact Investing Expert at Ecorys, focusing on the evaluation of FMO's renewable energy investment portfolio in fragile and conflict-affected states. In addition to this role, Tom holds positions as Non Executive Director at Agri Frontier and as Project Director for the UK - Tanzania Green Growth Facility at Palladium: Make It Possible. Tom is also a Trustee and Treasurer for the International Tree Foundation, overseeing financial management for the charity. Previous experience includes serving as Team Leader at Ecorys, where a project was led to review the Dutch Good Growth Fund’s approach to positive Demonstration Effects, and acting as a Business Advisor for the Challenge Fund for Youth Employment, assessing job creation proposals in Kenya and Nigeria. Tom has contributed as a Technical Advisor for the Mastercard Foundation, providing expert input on financial instruments for systemic change in access to finance in Sub Saharan Africa, and as a Content Producer for the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment. Educationally, Tom holds an MA in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of Oxford.
