Sean Murray

Sean Murray is a Geographic Information System Specialist with experience in ecology-focused projects and a robust background in GIS technology. Currently employed by Palmer since September 2021, Sean previously held positions as a Junior GIS Technician at Bolster Consulting Ltd, where responsibilities included developing map products for various contracts, and a Research Assistant in the Grizzly Bear Program at Foothills Research Institute, overseeing field crews and liaising with NGOs. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a concentration in Geomatics from the University of Victoria and an Associate of Science degree from Camosun College. Sean has also worked in various field technician roles and has expertise in vegetation surveys, navigation, and data management.
