Cooper Bishop

Cooper Bishop, PE has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Cooper is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Palmer Tool, LLC, where they specialize in custom fabrication, welding, and machining of alloy steels for severe industrial service. Their responsibilities include design and fabrication of pressure vessels, process piping, rebuilding of high-wear components, and providing onsite skilled trades contractors.

Prior to their current position, Cooper worked at Avient Corporation as the Director of Operations. Cooper played a key role in managing the company's acquisition and led the operations team until the site decommission in April 2021.

Before Avient, Cooper served as the Plant Manager at Mauser, a leading producer of industrial packaging containers. Cooper was responsible for the complete P&L and site management.

Cooper also held the position of Plant Manager at Otto Environmental Systems, where they oversaw a large-tonnage injection molding operation and managed custom molding projects for third parties.

At Tupperware, Cooper worked as a Maintenance Manager, establishing preventive and predictive maintenance programs for injection molding operations and overseeing the performance of the plant distribution system.

Cooper's early career began at Conbraco Industries, where they worked as a Project Engineer, providing manufacturing support for production machining, foundry operations, and designing industrial valves.

With their extensive experience in manufacturing, operations, and management, Cooper Bishop, PE has a strong background in leading and optimizing processes to drive success in various industries.

Cooper Bishop, PE completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University from 1989 to 1994. Prior to attending university, they attended Johnsonville High School from 1985 to 1989. Cooper also obtained additional certifications, including a Six Sigma Green Belt from Central Piedmont Community College in May 2011 and a Professional Engineer (PE) license from the State of South Carolina in January 2000.
