Waid Crockett

Waid Crockett is an experienced executive in local government, currently serving as Chief Executive at Palmerston North City Council since November 2022. Previously, Waid held the position of Chief Executive Officer at South Taranaki District Council from January 2018 to November 2022 and served as General Manager at Upper Hunter Shire Council from September 2013 to December 2017. Additional roles include Group Leader Community Services at Cessnock City Council and CEO of Raukawa Settlement Trust. Waid began a career in local government at Horowhenua District Council as Operations Manager. Waid holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Newcastle and has education from Massey University and Horowhenua and Rongotai Colleges.
