Cris Lindsay Wallace Smith

Lindsay Wallace Smith, CRIS, serves as the Corporate Risk Manager and Safety Director at Palmetto Corp since January 2013, overseeing all aspects of the safety and fleet program while managing a team of three safety coordinators and one fleet coordinator. Previously, Lindsay held the position of Transportation Planner at Waccamaw Regional Council of Governments from May 2008 to January 2013, where responsibilities included forming and leading a Rural Technical Committee, creating a rural intersection upgrade program, and establishing the Waccamaw Air Quality Coalition. Lindsay also contributed to the review of FHWA grant applications and assisted in developing various planning documents. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Transportation Planning and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design with a minor in Business Administration, both obtained from Auburn University.
